The young, good-looking Sergio works at the garbage collection in Lisbon . He spends the nights at work, getting around town. Sergio has various fleeting sexual adventures with other men, but is not interested in a closer relationship. His colleague Fátima waits for him, but this interest is not mutual. One night he comes to the house where a young motorcyclist lives with his family. The motorcycle and its owner arouse the interest of Sergio, who begins to chase the motorcyclist and secretly observes him. Sergio, however, rejects him until Sergio ties him up, rapes him and kidnaps him. The film ends in dreamlike sequences in which Sergio walks around on a garbage dump.
