The newspaper O Popular de Soure (German: The People's Friend from Soure) is a local newspaper from the Portuguese district town of Soure .
After the previous local newspaper had ceased to appear, those responsible for the local radio station, Radio Popular de Soure , decided to found a new local newspaper. The first edition came out in 1997. Since then, the paper has been published twice a month, always on Fridays.
content
The non-partisan newspaper reports on political, cultural and economic events from the district ( concelho ) Soure, but also on events in the neighboring district of Pombal . Local news from the individual communities ( freguesias ), reports on the local football club GD Sourense and announcements by the Soure district administration are particularly worthy of mention. The newspaper generally only publishes self-researched articles.
