Oak Grove Cemetery (Waukesha County, Wisconsin)
The Oak Grove Cemetery (also known as Presbyterian Cemetery and Potter's Field ) is a cemetery in Waukesha County in the US state of Wisconsin . It is located on Wisconsin Highway 67 and borders the Eagle Oak Opening State Natural Area .
The cemetery dates from 1844. Among other things, you can find tombstones of fallen soldiers from the Civil War . These include the inscriptions by Philip Bovee , John Adam Draper , Merrit Draper , William Harrison , Henry James , George M. Logan and Joseph B. Titus . Wisconsin's first veterinarian , Dr. Peter Grems is also buried here.
