Oatlands (Surrey)
Oatlands is an English village and small district near Weybridge in Surrey . The village takes its name from an aristocratic seat of Oatlands Palace , which was used by both the Tudors and the Stuarts. Oatlands Palace was the place where Henry VIII's marriage to his fifth wife, Catherine Howard, took place. A luxury hotel is now located on the site of the former aristocratic residence.
There is also an Iron Age burial site near St Mary Oatlands Church in the Oatlands district.
