The Obelisco a los Constituyentes de 1830 is a 40 meter high monument in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo, inaugurated on August 25, 1938 . It commemorates the first constitution of Uruguay, which came into force in 1830 .

The obelisk is located on the east side of Bulevar Artigas directly opposite the junction of Avenida 18 de Julio and that of Avenida Dr. Luis Morquio on the border of the Barrios Parque Batlle and Tres Cruces . It is made of bronze and granite and was created by the Uruguayan sculptor José Luis Zorrilla de San Martín . Since 1976 it has been classified as a Monumento Histórico Nacional .
