Upper Austrian state sports honor mark

The Upper Austrian State Sports Decoration is a decoration of the State of Upper Austria for active athletes and officials. It has existed since 1953 and is awarded in the stages of gold, silver and bronze. Recognition can also be given for active athletes. The award of honor takes place once a year.

Badges of honor for officials

The state sports badge in bronze is awarded for at least 10 years of responsible function in the sports sector. For a medal in silver, at least 15 years of official activity in a leading position are required; a gold award takes place after at least 20 years of official activity in a leading position.

Badges of honor for active athletes

The state sports badges are awarded to active athletes for sporting success in the bronze, silver and gold levels. In addition, athletes who have already been awarded the Gold Sports Decoration can be awarded a recognition .
