List of architectural monuments in Sulzbach am Main

On this page the monuments of the Lower Franconian market Sulzbach am Main are compiled. This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update status from April 15, 2020 and contains 38 architectural monuments.

Site fortification

A quarry stone wall along the northern, eastern and southern town center border with mouth and keyhole notches, one of which is marked 16 (?) 7, has been preserved from the market fortification. Two round towers each on Hauptstrasse and Pfortengasse have been handed down from two double-towered front gates. In the southeast corner of the fortification there is a remnant of a round tower. All towers are in the upper part with projecting over cornices, some with battlements, the eastern tower on the main street with niche and Madonna figure around 1500 (copy), sandstone mid-14th century - early 17th century.
