Ensemble town center Laudenbach

The ensemble includes the historical center of the church village on the left bank of the Main , dominated by the castle and the Catholic parish church. The main axis determining the townscape (Miltenberger- / Obernburger Straße) is bordered in the south by park and garden walls and built on in the center with guest houses and farmhouses from the 18th century - mostly eaves side buildings with mansard and hipped roofs and some with half-timbering . In the street of Obernburger Strasse, which climbs to the north and is accentuated by the baroque tower of the church , the eaves side buildings of the 18th century with mansard roofs predominate. - The Maingasse branching off to the river bank shows a rural character and is predominantly characterized by gabled houses from the 18th century - including the stately building of the Fürstlich Löwensteinischen former forestry office - while the rural gabled houses of the west ascending village street are characterized by the baroque castle of the Lords of Fechenbach , now the Barons von Aufseß , are dominated by the park and its high retaining walls. Boundary: Dorfstrasse 1/3, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 16, 18, 20, Bollersgasse 8, 10, Maingasse 1–10, Miltenberger Strasse 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 , Garden wall to No. 11, Johann Nepomuk Chapel, Obernburger Strasse 1–6, 8, 10, cath. Remarks

  1. This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The property of a monument - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the Monument Atlas and the entry in the Bavarian Monument List. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
