List of architectural monuments in Kleinwallstadt
The monuments of the Lower Franconian market in Kleinwallstadt are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update status of April 15, 2020 and contains 32 architectural monuments.
Ensembles
Ensemble Marktstrasse
The original building structure has been preserved on the eastern side of Marktstrasse: the courtyards line up their street fronts, each consisting of the house gable and the courtyard gate. The houses are plastered half-timbered buildings from the 17th / 18th centuries. Century with half-hipped roofs. The inn (Marktstraße 3) is characterized by its eaves side position. Boundary: Marktstrasse 3, 5, 7, 9/11, 13. File number: E-6-76-133-1.
Site fortification
Sections of the wall of the Kleinwallstadt fortifications have been preserved on the north, south and especially along the east side with slits. It is made of unplastered sandstone masonry and dates from the 15th / 16th centuries. Century. Remains of the north-western round tower and a side round tower with a keyhole notch and a historicizing crenellated wreath next to the former gate at the end of Obere Gasse are still present.
