The Supreme Court of Finland (Finnish Korkein oikeus , Swedish Högsta domstolen ) is the final instance of the general courts in Finland . There is also a supreme administrative court ( Korkein hallinto-oikeus ). The President and the other members of the Court are appointed by the President of the Republic .

Immediately to the west of the seat of the court at Pohjoisesplanadi 3 in Helsinki is the presidential palace .
