The Obertor , first mentioned in 1317, was a city ​​gate in Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was located south of the city at the confluence of Oberstrasse with Bonner Strasse and was part of the city fortifications of Düren .

The tower gate had a half-timbered structure . The substructure was built at the end of the 14th century, the structure in the 15th and 16th. Century. In 1822 the gate was laid down.
