Obserwatorija Assy-Turgen

The Obserwatorija Assy-Turgen , Russian Обсерватория Ассы-Тургень , engl. Assy-Turgen Observatory (ASSY) is an observatory located 70 km east of Almaty in Kazakhstan .
The observatory houses a reflector telescope with a diameter of one meter, which has been in use since 1981, and the AZT-22 reflector telescope with a diameter of 1.5 m, construction of which began in the early 1990s, was inactive for a long time and was only completed in 2016. It has been used regularly since 2017.
