Ocean Spray is an American agricultural cooperative made up of several hundred cranberry growers.

The cooperative was founded in 1930 by Marcus Urann, John Makepeace and Elizabeth Lee in Massachusetts. The three founders joined forces and developed a sauce based on cranberries as their first joint product. After a few years, more cranberry farmers from the states of Wisconsin, Washington and Oregon joined the cooperative. Within a decade, the association developed a cranberry juice and launched it. In the 1950s, Ocean Spray expanded its business into the Canadian market and switched to television advertising for the first time. The product range was expanded in 1976 when grapefruit farmers from Florida were accepted into the cooperative for the first time. The focus was and continues to be on cranberry-based foods. In 1974 sales of $ 100 million were recorded for the first time, which rose to over $ 500 million by 1980. In the 1990s, sales topped one billion dollars. In 2019, Ocean Spray belonged to over 700 farming families in North and South America. This makes Ocean Spray one of the largest cranberry manufacturers in the world.

Ocean Spray's products include fruit drinks, dried cranberries and sauces.
