Quillabamba is a city in south-central Peru in the Cusco region . It is the capital of the province of La Convención and the administrative seat of the district of Santa Ana . The city is located 110 km northwest of the regional capital Cusco .

Quillabamba had 23,985 inhabitants at the 2017 census. The city is located at an altitude of 1063  m on the left bank of the Río Urubamba . The city is surrounded by mountains up to 4000  m high.
