Odysseas Lekatsas

Odysseas Lekatsas († October 2013 ) was a Greek-born Australian football coach .

Athletic career

In 1959 Lekatsas was one of the founding members of South Melbourne FC . After the club, which is anchored in the Greek population, rose to the Victorian Premier League in 1960, he was responsible for winning the national championships in 1962, 1964 and 1965 as a coach.

He was a descendant of the Lekatsas family, which co-founded the Greek commune in Melbourne in 1897 .
