OehmsClassics (also known as Oehms Classics ) is a German record label that was founded in 2003 by music manager Dieter Oehms. It is a registered trademark of OehmsClassics Musikproduktion GmbH.

history

Oehms previously worked for 35 years as a manager at the record label Deutsche Grammophon / Polygram and Arte Nova / BMG .

According to the label itself, the focus is on "helping young artists to make their debut as well as supporting artists who have not yet received the attention they deserve with CD productions". Over the years, recordings by established artists have also increasingly been published.

The distribution takes place among others via Naxos .
