The Oertelplatz is a central square at the Munich-Allach train station in the Allach district of Munich . It opened on July 18, 2019 after years of redesign.

The central building on Oertelplatz is the fountain on Quartiersplatz: 85 water-spouting nozzles in the floor, spread over 90 square meters, enable up to 280 m of wave-like fountains on the accessible area. At Oertelplatz there is a VHS district center , a former high- rise bunker , a P + R underground car park with 128 parking spaces and the EVER.S shopping center .

The square is named after the otolaryngologist Max Joseph Oertel .
