Georg Oest Mineralölwerk GmbH & Co. KG
The plant was founded in 1915 by Johann Georg Oest as “Georg Oest & Cie. Factory for technical oils and fats ”founded in Freudenstadt. The company headquarters with administration, research & development with a new laboratory and manufacturing facility has been in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest since then. a. in Switzerland and Asia. The core business of Georg Oest Mineralölwerk GmbH & Co. KG traditionally consists of the development, production and sale of lubricants in the automotive, industrial, machining and forming sectors. Oest is a partner to the automotive industry and its suppliers and supplies forming lubricants for the production of body parts and special lubricants for the machining of engine and transmission parts. An extensive range of greases and products against corrosion as well as cleaning agents round off the product portfolio. In the context of fluid management, OEST offers software-based solutions and services.
Oest also offers a wide range of high-quality oldtimer oils under the founding brand Östol Oldtimer Oils from 1915. These oils and greases are matched to the engines and gearboxes that were then produced with higher manufacturing tolerances.
In addition, Oest is one of the few manufacturers of special fuels with the brands Oecomix 2T, Oecokraft 4T and OecoPower D in Europe. The mineral oil works is a member of the VSI and the UNITI . The chairman of the management, Mr. Alexander A. Klein is u. a. Member of the board of the Federal Association UNITI eV and member of the BBUG.
As a co-partner, the ENERGY division operates several wind farms in Germany and trades in fuels and fuels as well as energy products such as natural gas and electricity for commercial and private customers.
Oest Tankstellen GmbH & Co. KG
In 1952, Oest co-founded the German Avia . The Avia Group is a corporate organization founded in Switzerland in 1927. In it, medium-sized mineral oil companies have come together to form the common brand Avia, due to growing competitive pressure from multinational corporations. As a founding partner of the German Avia, Oest Tankstellen GmbH & Co. KG operates a large network of petrol stations in southwest Germany. In total, Avia operates around 800 stations in Germany and over 3000 in Europe.
Oest GmbH & Co. Maschinenbau KG
The engineering is another pillar of the Oest group. The application technology for the paraffin dispersions used in the chipboard industry by the mineral oil plant gave rise to the idea of developing an automatic metering machine for the production of ready-to-use glue mixtures in the 1960s. Today Oest GmbH & Co. Maschinenbau KG is a leading manufacturer of machines for dosing, mixing, pumping and applying glue mixtures and PUR adhesives in the wood, sandwich and construction industries. Oest serves other markets with specialized components, e.g. B. for the production of sandwich elements in the caravan, trailer and insulation board industry. With an export quota of over 80%, Oest is an international mechanical engineering specialist who supplies customers in Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan and China, among others. Oest Maschinenbau is a member of the VDMA .
