The open hole is a Outbound rock castle in the district of Beuron in the district of Sigmaringen in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle cannot be dated. Only small remains of the wall have survived from the former castle. Most of the castle was probably destroyed by the collapse of the Open Hole Cave below.
