The Mittelstand offensive - “Gut für Deutschland” is an interest group to promote the quality of work and employee-oriented management in medium-sized companies .

The Mittelstand Offensive was founded in 2006 under the umbrella of the New Quality of Work initiative , which was launched by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs .

target

The aim is to support small and medium-sized companies with changes so that megatrends can be used as opportunities and competitive advantages . For this purpose, the activities of the various actors who support medium-sized companies should be better brought together.

Target groups

The indirect target group of the Mittelstand offensive are primarily companies with up to 25 employees and annual sales of up to € 2 million. That is around 95 percent of all companies in Germany. The direct target group of the Mittelstand Offensive are the intermediary organizations and service providers of the Mittelstand.

structure

The structure of the Offensive Mittelstand is derived from the basic principles of the Offensive Mittelstand - Gut für Deutschland .

  • Plenary : The highest body that decides on all products and projects in consensus with all partners.
  • Management committee: The management committee prepares strategic decisions and new initiatives, ensures that the decisions of the plenary are implemented and is the decision-making body between the plenary meetings.
  • Office: The office in Langenhagen supports the management team in the preparation and implementation of the plenary meetings, in implementing the decisions of the plenary and in safeguarding the interests of the SME offensive between plenary meetings.
  • Regional networks: Consists of partners in the SME offensive in one region.
  • Institution for the qualification of OM consultants and authorized consultants
  • Specialist groups: A specialist group deals with a clearly described and delimited specialist topic that further develops and / or supports the existing instruments and structures of the SME offensive.

The Mittelstand offensive is financed by contributions from partners and project funding.
