Ognjan Doinov

Ognjan Nakow Doinow ( Bulgarian Огнян Наков Дойнов ; born October 15, 1935 in Bow ; † February 13, 2000 in Vienna ) was a Bulgarian politician .

Life

Doinow had trained as an engineer and was a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party . From 1974 to 1976 he was deputy chairman of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers . From 1976 he was a member of the Central Committee , the Politburo of the Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Committee of the party.

In the 1980s he was deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers and also chairman of the Economic Council of the Bulgarian Council of Ministers. In 1986 he signed an agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany on the promotion and protection of capital investments for Bulgaria.
