Without author

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The indication without author ( o. V. ) is used in direct or indirect citations as an abbreviation in references and bibliographies if the author of a source is not known by name. For example, a statement in the source could look like this:

N / A: sample title, place, year, pp. 10–15.

Quoting online documents

When citing online documents whose author is not known, the publisher or name of the website is given in accordance with ISO 690 and DIN 150 .

This would then look like this in the source information on this page, given the name of the website:

Without author - Wikipedia: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohne_Verfasser , accessed on August 31, 2020.

The following example is suitable for specifying the publisher:

Bibliographisches Institut GmbH - Duden Verlag (Ed.): Http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/Verfasser , accessed on August 31, 2020.
