Alexandra Schmied

Alexandra Schmied (born May 26, 1990 in Amberg ) is a German folk musician .

biography

Schmied played the accordion as a child and attended a music school in the Ursensollen community for two years . Later she learned the Styrian harmonica .

Alexandra Schmied won the young talent competition at the Musikantenstadl in 2006.

  • 2006 - Stadlstern ; Winner of the young talent competition in the Musikantenstadl with the title Verrückte Finger bei Andy Borg
  • 2006 - Herbert Roth Prize ; together with Nicolas Senn
  • 2007 - 2nd place at the Grand Prix of Folk Music
  • 2007 - The golden tulip 2007 ; 2nd place in the category "Best Newcomer"
  • 2013 - Best young artist on the Styrian harmonica
