An Oi-Zuki [ ˈoiˌzɯki ] ( Japanese 追 い 突 き ) (in Wadō-Ryū : Jun-Zuki , Japanese 順 突 き ) is an equilateral punch (for leg movement). It is used in many Budo disciplines, such as B. in karate or jiu jitsu . It is an embodiment of the Choku-Zuki with foot movement. In addition to the block techniques, the Oi-Zuki (or the Choku-Zuki) is one of the first techniques a student learns. The Oi-Zuki is the counterpart to the Gyaku-Zuki (punch with the side whose leg is not in front). Due to the long sequence of movements, the Oi-Zuki is rarely used in competition . It is mostly found in katas and elementary school techniques.

Example: In the left display, an Oi-Zuki is performed by the karateka walking forward with his right foot and at the same time performing a push with his right fist so that at the end of the technique he is in a right display.
