Gallery Monferrato

Okelle Monferrato is a commercial building ( Okelle ) built on the model of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II , which is one of the largest commercial buildings in the city of Alexandria .

It was completed in 1887 based on designs by the Italian architect Luigi Piattoli . The business premises are on the ground floor and apartments above. There are large inner courtyards in the converted area. The business life of Urabi Square takes place among other things. a. in the Gallery Monferrato. According to Khalil, the facade should be in good condition, not the inner courtyards with the shops.
