Oko , also known as Ogori-Magongo and Oko-Eni-Osayen , is one of the languages ​​of Nigeria .

It is a dialect cluster that is spoken in the state of Kogi in Nigeria . Linguistically, the language forms a branch of the "Nupe-Oko-Idoma" ( noi ) group of the Niger-Congo languages .

Oko is one of the endangered languages ​​in West Africa , as it only has 10,000 speakers and the language is gradually being replaced by English, Nigeria's new official language since 1960.
