Oladji

Oladji (Pl., Russian Оладьи singular: оладья = pancake ) are a traditional egg dish in Russian cuisine made from wheat or buckwheat flour , water or milk and eggs. The thick dough in small portions in butter or cooking fat (oil) as pancakes fried and mostly with sweet dishes such as jam , honey , sweetened condensed milk , but also with Smetana ( sour cream or sour cream eaten).

In western-speaking countries, oladji are often confused with bliny .
