Olaus Petri monument

The Olaus Petri Monument is a memorial to the Swedish theologian and reformer Olaus Petri .

It is located directly in front of the east side of the Nikolaikirche at the west end of the Slottsbacken in Stockholm's old town Gamla stan . The monument consists of a bronze sculpture by Petri standing on a high pedestal . It was created in 1898 by the sculptor Theodor Lundberg and placed at the current location.
