The Old West Church is a historically significant church in Calais , Vermont .
It was built from 1823 to 1825 and its design is reminiscent of the architecture of the churches of southern New England in the late 18th century. The appearance of the Old West Church has hardly changed to this day. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 8, 1973 as a monument .
