Oleh Barna
Oleh Stepanowytsch Barna ( Ukrainian Олег Степанович Барна ; born April 18, 1967 in Nahirjanka , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian human rights activist, teacher and member of the 8th Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada , the Ukrainian parliament.
After the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 , in which he ran as a candidate for the Petro Poroshenko bloc in the Chortkiv constituency , he became a People's Deputy of Ukraine.
Barna was one of the initiators of protests and inspections at Ukrspirt , the state-owned, largest producer of alcohol and alcoholic products in Ukraine.
