Oleksandr Semchuk

Oleksandr Semchuk ( Ukrainian Олександр Михайлович Семчук Oleksandr Mychajlowytsch Semchuk ; born October 12, 1976 in Ivano-Frankivsk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian violinist .

biography

Semchuk received his first awards at the Youth Assembly of Art competition in Moscow . He won the international Mykola Lyssenko competition. For his work as the founder and organizer of the cultural project “Artists for the Reconstruction of Ukraine” he was awarded the title “Honored Artist of Ukraine” in 2002 as the youngest musician. Furthermore, Semchuk received the “Laszlo Spezzaferri” in 2013 and the “Rinaldo Rossi” award in 2014 for his educational work and the establishment of an Italian violin school.
