Olena Mykolajiwna Resnir ( Ukrainian Олена Миколаївна Резнір , scientific transliteration Olena Reznir ; born October 21, 1978 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian handball player .

From 1995 to 2007 she played for HC Motor Zaporizhia in her home country. She then moved to Germany with her husband and briefly ended her handball career. In January 2008, the 1.70 m tall back player , who is also used in the right wing position, joined the German Bundesliga club Rhein-Main Bienen . The contract was terminated in November 2008 for private reasons. Since then, Olena Resnir has been playing at HSG Albstadt in the Regionalliga Süd.

She is the current Ukrainian national player and has so far played 163 internationals. In 2000 she and her team became vice European champion.
