Oliver Gussenberg

Oliver Gussenberg (born April 21, 1978 in Oldenburg ) is a former German judoka .

Gussenberg started judo at the age of seven. In 1997 he became German champion for the first time in the super lightweight up to 60 kilograms. At the international level, he celebrated his greatest success with fifth place at the 2003 World Cup in Osaka . In 2007 the success at the German championship was repeated. He finished seventh at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . He trains with the Judo Crocodiles Osnabrück .

Oliver Gussenberg is a researcher at an international market research institute and has been working in the field of sports marketing and opinion research in Osnabrück since 2007. He holds an MBA from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College , UK . He is married and lives in Osnabrück with his wife and two children.
