The Judo Crocodiles Osnabrück are a sports club from the Lower Saxony city of Osnabrück , which offers the martial arts Judo and Ju-Jutsu . The training center is located at Iburger Strasse 159b in the Schölerberg district .
history
In 1980 the club was founded under the name Judokampfgemeinschaft Osnabrück . The first chairman of the association was Jürgen Füchtmeyer. Under his leadership, the Crocodiles were able to record national and international successes and developed into a judo performance center of the state of Lower Saxony. In 2011 Füchtmeyer handed over the management of the club to Teja Ahlmeyer, a long-time judoka of the club.

Judo
The success of the Crocodiles teams in the women's judo league is outstanding . A total of six times they won the German championship, five of them in a row (1992-1996 and 2000). Most recently, a women's Crocodiles team was first class in 2013. In 2012, the men's crocodiles team won the German championship title in the U17 age group.
In addition to the team successes, a number of Crocodiles judoka achieved individual successes in national and international competitions.
Ju-Jutsu
The Ju-Jutsuka of the Crocodiles have also achieved individual successes at the German championships and the European championships in the past.
