Olivia Safe (born March 4, 1982 in Birmingham ) is a British opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Olivia comes from Birmingham / United Kingdom and studied singing at the Wells Cathedral School of Music and with Johanna Peters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. During her training, she performed as a solo soprano at the Bristol Colston Hall and the Symphony Hall in Birmingham and worked with the BBC Symphony Orchestra . Olivia Safe has also been selected to perform in front of the Prince of Wales on his visit to Wells. Numerous awards accompany her still young career: winner of the "Taunton and Somerset Festival", winner of the "Trowbridge Festival" and winner of all categories at the "Cheltenham Festival". Olivia Safe's engagement with “ The Phantom of the Opera ” in Hamburg was her debut as a musical actress. There she played "Christine" at the age of 19 and was the youngest leading actress of all time in "Phantom". In spring 2007, as in 2006 as a guest on the B.C. tour "My Heart's Truth", she performed with Björn Casapietra , whom she met in Hamburg on "The Phantom of the Opera", on his Germany tour "Serenata d'Amore - Songs of Longing ”. In spring 2008 she accompanied Björn Casapietra again on his Germany tour "Verführung Live - die Tour '08".
