The two-storey , seven-axis plastered building with a mansard roof was built in 1882.

The two outer window axes are designed as a flat template. In addition, they have shared window roofs on the upper floor and large, two- branch dormers . The facade has plastered rustics on the ground floor . A wide, horizontal strip of cornice with decorated parapet areas optically separates the floors.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 613.

The building belonged to Sarnowstrasse until this section was renamed .
