Olof Persson

Olof Persson (born May 5, 1978 in Malmö ) is a Swedish football player .

career

Persson played at Oxie IF in his youth before moving to Malmö FF . There he made his debut in 1995 in the Allsvenskan . After the end of the 2001 season he moved to Austria for FC Tirol Innsbruck . The championship title was won under coach Joachim Löw . After the bankruptcy and the subsequent withdrawal of the Bundesliga license, he returned to Sweden to MFF. In 2006 he left the club for Denmark and joined Aarhus GF .

Persson played four caps for the Swedish national team between 2001 and 2006 , but did not take part in any tournament.

Persson later returned to Malmö FF where he worked as an assistant coach.
