It is located in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld Ost district on the back of the residential buildings at Olvenstedter Strasse 11 and 12 .
Architecture and history
The one to two storey brick building was built in 1904 as a brewery defeat. In the house, typical rooms such as ice cellar, washing and pull-out room, but also an office and horse stables were set up for the purpose. The window openings are designed as segment arch windows. The decorative elements are archivolts and a simple decor on the cornice .
In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a brewery under registration number 094 82640 as a monument .
The building is considered to be relevant in terms of economic and urban history. Due to its close spatial proximity to the residential developments that were already in place during the construction period, it shows the narrow mix of residential and commercial buildings that was typical of the time.
