Olympiodorus the Elder
Olympiodorus the Elder was a late antique philosopher . His teaching activity in Alexandria falls in the first half of the 5th century. He was mainly concerned with the interpretation of the teachings of Aristotle . His best-known student was the Neo-Platonist Proklos .
Olympiodoros the Elder is not to be confused with Olympiodorus the Younger .
