history
During the time when the city of Beja, like the rest of the country, was under the French protectorate, sporting activities were organized in the individual communities. So there were two clubs. In one club the players who had a Jewish denomination played and in the other club mainly Italians played. The idea came about to found a soccer team where Tunisian Muslims could play.
In the 2013/14 season, Olympique Béja was relegated from the Tunisian league in 14th place .
