Omega Seamaster
The Omega Seamaster is an automatic or quartz -driven watch the Omega SA . It has been in production since 1947 and is continuously being developed. At the beginning it was a regular line of wristwatches and similar items. a. with increased waterproofness, but since 1957 there has also been a pure model series specializing in diving (often with the addition of "Professional"). Today, the Omega Seamaster is best known as a diver's watch with a three-part watch case and screw-down crown, but the Seamaster Aqua Terra series continues to offer elegant, sporty models without a rotating bezel. The case and watch strap are mostly made of stainless steel , but titanium, gold and platinum are also used. The hippocampus logo is characteristically engraved on the bottom , but models with a glass bottom are increasingly being offered, especially since a movement with non-magnetic components and alloys was used for the first time in 2013/2014 and made the otherwise usual soft iron cage superfluous (Aquaterra 15 '000 Gauss and Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial ). Omega has been the official sponsor of the James Bond films since 1995 . In Goldeneye (1995), the Seamaster Professional 300 (model 2541.80.00) first presented Bonds with a service watch. In Casino Royale from 2006, Bond also wore a Seamaster Planet Ocean watch for the first time.
