Omroep Venlo

Omroep Venlo is the local radio and television broadcaster for the Dutch municipality of Venlo .

The Venlo city television started its program in 1982 under the name “Stadsomroep”. After the localities of Tegelen and Belfeld were connected to the municipality of Venlo, the transmitter was renamed “Omroep Venlo”. Omroep Venlo is divided into "Omroep Venlo TV" (television) and "Omroep Venlo FM" (radio).

The radio program can be received in Venlo and the surrounding area on VHF 96.9 MHz.

Awards

In 2005, 2010 and 2013 the station was awarded the title Best Dutch Local Channel of the Year .
