The 17th season has aired on Investigation Discovery since July 15, 2018 .

concept

American criminal cases are reconstructed in the documentation magazine. Scenes are used as well as interviews with the relatives of the victims and the investigators and lawyers at the time. For this, the traveling Emmy -Preisträgerin and former CNN presenter Paula Zahn as host of the program by the United States .

One case is dealt with in each episode; Zahn also leads through the show as a presenter and off-speaker.

German-speaking area

The German-language first broadcast has been on the German channel Super RTL since March 12, 2018 . The translation and broadcast is not based on the original classification of the episodes. So at the beginning episodes from the fifth season and then episodes from the seventh season were shown. The first 26 episodes were broadcast from March 12 to April 2, 2018 and on May 7 and 14, 2018, on Mondays from 8:15 p.m. with three episodes in a row and from April 9 to 23, 2018 and on May 21, 2018 with double episodes.

Since September 24, 2018, additional first broadcasts have been shown on Mondays from 8:15 p.m. with three episodes in a row from the fourth and sixth seasons.
