Opel Motorbike (1919-1924)

The Opel motorbike (1919 to 1924) was developed in 1913, but production only started in Rüsselsheim after the First World War . Opel tried to regain a foothold in the motorcycle sector with the four-stroke engine with SV valve control screwed on the left rear wheel after the first motorcycle production was discontinued in 1907. The displacement was 140 cm³ (bore / stroke: 57 × 55 mm) and the power was given as 1.1  HP . In 1924 the 40 km / h fast motorbike with a pushed short swing arm , of which there was also a women's version with a low step through, was replaced by a light motorcycle.
