Operation Čagalj

The operation Čagalj ( jackal ), and operation Lipanjske zore called (June Dawn), was a joint military operation of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO), the Croatian Armed Forces (HV) and Croatian Defense Forces (HOS) at the start of the Bosnian war . Through the offensive against the Yugoslav Army and the armed forces of the Republika Srpska , which lasted from June 7th to 26th, 1992 , the Croatian forces gained control of the area around Mostar, which was mostly inhabited by Croatians and Bosniaks .
