The Ophthalmia Reservoir is a reservoir in the northwest of the Australian state of Western Australia , 15 km east of Newman in the Ophthalmia Range.

Both the Fortescue River and its eastern tributary Warrawanda Creek were dammed and form a common reservoir approx. 3 km long and 6 km wide. Both flowing waters emerge on the north side of the lake. The Warrawanda Creek flows into the Fortescue River about 1 km below the reservoir.

The water from the Ophthalmia Reservoir is used to supply the city of Newman with water. The city's drinking water supply alone requires 6.29 million m³ / year.
