Oppera

Oppera is an American rock band consisting of former pop star Martika and musician Michael Mozart. Martika had an international chart success in the summer of 1989 with the song Toy Soldier , but disappeared from the public eye in 1992 after her second album.

In 2000 she opened an Internet presence and published individual songs about it. In 2003, Oppera was launched along with a website called Area 51 . The debut album "Violince" was released in 2004.

A second, self-titled album was released in 2005, with which Oppera went on tour as co-headliner with Pat Benatar . They also completed a mini tour in Borders Book bookstores, which was called the "Borders to Borders Tour".
