Optionally Piloted Vehicle
As optionally piloted vehicle (OPV) to aircraft referred to, both manned by a pilot and unmanned fly. As an alternative to pure manned or unmanned aircraft, such aircraft can be configured depending on the mission. If z. B. the skills of a human pilot are required, the aircraft can be operated manned, while z. B. No crew is required for long, monotonous missions.
