Optivity Switch Manager (OSM) is a configuration management software (registered trademark ) for Ethernet - Switches and Ethernet Routing Switches company Nortel Networks , the 2009 Avaya was acquired.

The software has now been renamed Enterprise Switch Manager (ESM).

Basing and support

It is software that is Java- based and visualizes the network management information using a GUI . It supports the SNMP -standard based configuration of Ethernet switches. OSM supports element management, the dedicated configuration of individual devices, as well as the network-wide configuration of Ethernet switch groups. The Optivity Switch Manager software requires operating system platforms such as Linux , UNIX , or Windows .
