Opus (Elis)
Opus ( Greek Ὀποῦς Opous ) was an ancient Greek city in the Akroreia part of the Elis region on the Peloponnese peninsula . It can probably be identified with archaeological remains at today's Gartsiko. Opus was captured by the Spartans at the end of the Peloponnesian War .
On a late Roman Diocese of the city, the titular goes Opus of the Roman Catholic Church back.
